Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care in our cardiac-focused unit. This role requires weekend shifts (3 out of 4) from 7pm to 7am, with opportunities for sign-on bonuses and education assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.

Responsibilities

• Care for cardiac patients in a clinical setting, including telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.

serves the medical cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The types of patients we serve are those with multisystem management needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal conditions. We also coordinate management of patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.
