Job summary

Mercy in Missouri is seeking registered nurses to join our cardiac care team. The role covers medical cardiac patients, telemetry monitoring, and coordination with cath lab, angio, dialysis, and infusion therapies. A year-long Nurse Residency program is available for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Must hold a valid RN license in the hiring state or compact.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical cardiac patients.
• Manage telemetry and cardiac monitoring needs of patients.
• Coordinate care with cath lab, angio, dialysis, infusion/chemo and anticoagulation therapies.

serves the medical cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The types of patients we serve are those with multisystem management needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal conditions. We also coordinate management of patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.
