Mercy Springfield is seeking a registered nurse to provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. The role coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.

This weekend position requires Fri–Sun 7a–7p with one orientation period. Mercy offers education assistance up to $20,000 loan forgiveness for new grads, tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 per year, relocation assistance of $3,000 for full time, weekend

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

This will position will work every weekend Fri, Sat, Sun 7a-7p once off orientation

• Qualifications:
• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties"Nurse Residency Available: Mercy Springfield offers a year-long Nurse Residency Program tailored to the specialty area in which each nurse is hired. All graduate nurses participate in the program, along with select experienced nurses based on their individual experience and professional development needs."

4C- serves the medical cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The types of patients we serve are those with multisystem management needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal conditions. We also coordinate management of patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.
