Mercy is seeking an RN to cover 3 of 4 weekends, from 7pm to 7am, joining a collaborative cardiac care team. The role supports patients with chronic and acute conditions, with telemetry and specialized care coordination across cath lab, dialysis, and infusion services.

Nurses participate in a year-long residency program tailored to the unit needs. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN program with an active license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure is required.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Manage chronic and acute cardiac-related conditions with telemetry and coordinated care.
• Coordinate care for procedures such as cath lab, angio, dialysis, infusion/chemo, and anticoagulation therapies.

Formation

serves the medical cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The types of patients we serve are those with multisystem management needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal conditions. We also coordinate management of patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.
