Job summary

Mercy Springfield is seeking dedicated registered nurses to join the 7D-Med Tele/Med Tele unit. You will deliver patient care per the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Eligible new grads may access up to $20,000 loan forgiveness and tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 annually. Relocation assistance of $3,000 is provided for full-time roles, plus comprehensive benefits and a nurse residency program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact license.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Monitor patients on telemetry and manage complex diagnoses on the 7D Med Tele unit.
• Participate in Nurse Residency Program and ongoing professional development.

Position Details:

This position will be every Friday, Sat, Sunday 7a-7p once off orientation.

Our patients present with multi-system needs, including chest pain, heart failure, dysrhythmias, sepsis, infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions and more. We also care for patients requiring surgical interventions such as cath lab procedures, angiograms, EGD, colonoscopy, and anticoagulation therapies.
