Job summary

Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge Supervisor in Woodburn, OR. This full-time role manages nursing staff, ensures high-quality patient care and supports department operations within EPIC EMR systems.

The ideal candidate brings RN licensure (OR/WA), 1 year of RN experience, and at least 2 years of supervisory work, with BCLS on hire, ACLS/PALS preferred and a willingness to travel between Yakima Valley sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher in Nursing.
• One year of experience as an RN required.
• Two years of supervisory experience in patient care preferred.
• Active OR Registered Nurse license.
• Dual licensure in WA & OR within 120 days of hire.
• BCLS within 90 days; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coaches, mentors and trains direct report staff; conducts performance evaluations.
• Supports staff growth, identifies training needs and implements plans.
• Participates in recruitment, orientation and onboarding of staff.
• Develops and implements departmental work plans and schedules; coordinates patient flow.
• Provides patient care, records health history and vital signs; discusses procedures.
• Documents medications and treatments in the EMR; assists providers with procedures.
• Coordinates referrals and education to optimize patient care across teams.
