Job summary

The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse Charge Supervisor in Yakima, WA to oversee nursing staff, provide direct patient care, and support providers during outpatient procedures.

This full-time, exempt-position uses EPIC EMR. Pay ranges from $42.87 to $52.51 per hour DOE, plus bilingual pay; a $9,500 hiring/retention bonus is offered and generous benefits include 100% employer-paid health insurance and a 403(b).

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license; dual WA/OR licensure within 120 days.
• BCLS required within 90 days; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred (level 10).

Responsibilities

• Coaches, mentors and trains direct report staff; conducts performance evaluations.
• Supports staff growth, identifies training needs and creates action plans.
• Participates in recruitment, onboarding and orientation of new staff.
• Develops annual department work plan and coordinates patient flow.
• Delivers patient care, takes vital signs, and documents in EMR.
• Explains procedures and medications to patients; obtains informed consent.
