Job summary

HMR Veteran's Services is seeking an RN Charge Nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the Nursing Staff and CNAs in compliance with federal, state, and local standards.

This full-time position offers benefits and requires a Nursing Degree from an accredited program with an active RN license. Prior RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess a current, active RN license in this state.
• Previous RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• RN Charge Nurse provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises day-to-day nursing activities of staff and CNAs in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

The RN Charge Nurse is responsible to provide direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the Nursing Staff and the CNAs in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have, at a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved Registered Nurse program.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state.
• Previous RN Charge Nurse experience in a long-term care community is preferred.
