Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Float Critical Care RN for a 13-week contract in Newark, NJ. Night shift consists of 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, floating to ICU/CCU/CTICU/Step Down as needed, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Requires 1.5+ years CC experience, current ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and an active NJ or Compact RN license at submission. Exposure to Swan-Ganz, IABP, and VAD is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1.5 years of Critical Care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Active NJ or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.
• Experience in managing dysrhythmias and post-cardiac surgery care is preferred.
• Exposure to Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, and VAD is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Float Critical Care RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced critical care environment, including floating to various units as necessary. Candidates should be comfortable in ICU/CCU settings and skilled in managing critical patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients.
• Manage and monitor arterial lines and IV therapies.
• Care for ventilated patients and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Post-operative care for cardiac surgery patients.
• Float between ICU, CCU, CTICU, and Step Down units as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
