Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the CCSD unit on nights. You will perform patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, provide age-appropriate care, and document care plans to support optimal outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include WV RN license and a nursing degree; BLS within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within six months; one year of experience preferred and ASLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.
