Job summary

Lifepoint Health® is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Critical Care Services Department at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. This position involves providing high-acuity monitoring and care for patients recovering from critical illnesses on a PRN night shift basis.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.

Job Type: PRN Nights. Location: In-Person, Raleigh General Hospital, Beckley, WV.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Services Department on an emergency, night shift basis to provide high‑acuity monitoring and care for patients recovering from critical illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provide age‑ and condition‑appropriate nursing care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develop, implement, and revise interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within six months of hire.
• Preferred: One year of experience.
• Preferred: Advanced Sepsis Life Support (ASLS) certification.
