Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Post Cardiac Cath recovery on the 2 South Med Surg/Telemetry unit. The role requires a current RN license and an associate degree, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS to be obtained within specified timeframes.

With a 24-bed unit and a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, the team provides attentive care and collaborative support, including PCTs and PCAs. The position is full-time, night shift, in-person at Raleigh General Hospital.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments.
• Initiates nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Completes timely and accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans per patient.
