Registered Nurse (RN) – CCSD

Job Type: PRN Nights | Location: In-Person at Raleigh General Hospital

As a Registered Nurse joining our team, you will provide critical care within the CCSD unit, which offers specialized intermediate-level care for patients requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing support following critical illness, cardiac events, surgical procedures, or complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and thorough patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings.
• Provide age- and condition-appropriate nursing care.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record.
• Develop, implement, and revise interdisciplinary care plans for each patient.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• ASLS certification preferred.
