Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for the Cath Lab in the Salisbury, NC area. This 16-week assignment requires a registered nurse with Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology experience, including scrub and circulate responsibilities. ACLS/BCLS certified with NC or Compact license preferred.
The role involves weekly procedure coverage across interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular, and EP device implant procedures. Expect 24/7 STEMI call with defined on-call windows.

Description:RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.Any call-offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly result in a cancel and do not return.Cath Lab and IR experience is required.The unit will accept first-time travelers.The staff practices weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all services.There is 24/7 call coverage for STEMI/emergent/urgent IR and cardiology procedures.Call requirement during the week is from 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM the following morning.Weekend call is from Friday 4:00 PM until Monday at 7:30 AM.Twice a week for two weeks in the month, there is one call weekend (Friday night to Monday morning) per month and one week following the call weekend with no call.Occasional additional call may be required with even distribution among all staff members.Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs.IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.The call team consists of three staff members, one of which is an RN.There is no float requirement.Weekend requirement is twice a week for two weeks in the month.One call weekend (Friday night to Monday morning) per month, and one week following call weekend with no call.The department consists of interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular, and EP device implant procedures, with an 85%/15% split and IR being the 85%.The lab hours are Monday-Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with 24/7 call coverage for STEMI/emergent/urgent IR and cardiology procedures.The special equipment includes MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet, Pneumbra Thromblis System, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for implants, Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit, Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, and S2000 Ultrasound Unit.All staff practice weekly rotation providing procedure coverage for all services listed.
