Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.The role involves intra-procedural circulating, supplies management, medication administration, and sedation.The average number of cases per day is between 4 to 5.Common diagnoses and types of patients include Compression Fractures, Venous Access, Hydronephrosis, Chest Pain, Pulmonary Hypertension, Shortness of Breath, Gastric Ulcer, Pulmonary Embolism, and Deep Vein Thrombosis.The team consists of a Supervisor and three Cath Lab Technicians.Minimum call requirements include 10 shifts during the week and 2 weekends, which are typically one for IR and one for Cardiac procedures.Holiday call requirements are also expected.Call response time is within 30 minutes.Daily floating and on-call duties may be required.Applicable dress code is surgical greens.This is a versatile lab primarily performing Interventional Radiology with additional Cardiac inpatient procedures.Preparedness for STEMI treatments, including IABP stabilization, is essential.Candidates must not be employed in any full-time, part-time, or PRN capacities with any associated facilities.Fingernail policy prohibits artificial nails in all patient care areas.RTO requests must be upfront, with a limit of 7 days over a 13-week contract.Additional RTO requests will not be approved after submission.Cancellation policies allow for up to 4 shifts to be canceled during a 13-week assignment.
