Description: Cath Lab Nursing position with call 2-3 days per week.Weekend call is rotating.Patients include adults with diagnoses such as STEMI, A.Fib, VT, and Coronary artery disease.Daily census involves an average of 6 patients.The unit has 2 rooms equipped for special procedures.Special procedures include PCI, A. fib ablation, device implantation, and pericardiocentesis.Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Pharmacy.The Cath Lab utilizes advanced equipment such as Farapulse, Siemens C-arms, and IVUS.Strong skills in 3D imaging, accurate monitoring, and angioplasty are essential.Experience in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac procedures is preferred.Candidates must be able to maintain equipment and manage inventory effectively.Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias is necessary for this role.Candidates may need to perform EKG lead placements and assist with device insertions.Flexibility for scheduling and on-call duties is required.All candidates must comply with licensure and certification standards.
