Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for Cath Lab in South Carolina for a 13-week assignment. The role requires a Registered Nurse with a Cath Lab specialty, active SC or Compact license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Typical shifts are four 10-hour days, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with travel/stemI call coverage as needed.

The Cath Lab team comprises three full‑time nurses. Orientation includes 16 hours of training; daily census is four patients with adult and geriatric care.

Qualifications

• Active SC license or Compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• Cath Lab experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Work in Cath Lab team on a 13-week assignment
• Possibility of STEMI coverage on weekends for travel staff
• On-call coverage Monday through Saturday as required

Description:The team works four ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 5 pm.The Cath Lab team consists of three full-time nurses.There is a pre/post procedure area that includes four bays staffed by two registered nurses.There is only one Cath Lab procedure room.Occasionally, travel staff may be required to perform STEMI coverage on weekends.Travel staff are expected to participate in STEMI call when scheduled during those coverage periods.On-call coverage is required from Monday to Saturday.Callbacks are only for post-PCI patients needing to return to the Cath Lab.Travel staff will not float between service lines.Travel staff will not float to sister facilities.Orientation includes a 16-hour training period.Daily patient census is four, with four visits per day.Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics.Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.The charting system is Epic.Scrubs are provided.All RTO must be included upon submission and cannot be changed later.Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
