Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current R.N. or L.P.N. License in the State of Florida.
• Must be able to write, read, and speak the English language.
• Must possess a current and valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and directs the nursing care of all residents in accordance with current rules, regulations, and facility standards of care.
• Ensures that nursing service procedures and manual are followed by nursing personnel, and reflect daily nursing care procedures.
• Attends or coordinates committees such as infection control and quality assurance as required.
• Conducts daily rounds to ensure staff perform duties per standards and reports issues.
• Assists in developing, implementing, and conducting in-service and orientation programs for nursing staff.
• Monitors medication passes and treatment schedules, ensuring accurate documentation.
