Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid and current RN or LP‑N license in the state of Florida.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have at least 1 year of supervision experience in a hospital, long‑term care facility, or other health‑related care setting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct the nursing care of all residents in accordance with current rules and facility standards.
• Ensure nursing service procedures and the nursing department manual are followed by staff.
• Attend and coordinate facility committee meetings (infection control, quality assurance, etc.).
• Make daily rounds to ensure staff perform their duties to nursing standards; report issues to the Director of Nursing.
• Assist in developing and conducting in-service and orientation programs for nursing staff.
• Perform charting duties and monitor compliance with documentation policies.
