Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to manage safe, individualized discharge planning and timely utilization management across care settings. You will collaborate with patients, families and the healthcare team to maximize positive outcomes and appropriate resource use.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure in Nevada and 3+ years of clinical experience, with 2+ years in utilization review or case management, plus strong documentation and data skills to support care transitions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum three years experience in varied clinical settings; two years in Utilization Review/Utilization Management or Case Management preferred.
• Knowledge of social and physical factors affecting discharge and access to post-discharge resources.
• Current RN license to practice in Nevada.

Responsibilities

• Establish a safe, individualized discharge plan and provide proficient timely utilization management services to maximize reimbursement.
• Collaborate with patient, family and healthcare team to achieve quality healthcare outcomes.
