Job summary

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking an RN Supervisor of Case Management to provide operational and clinical leadership for the Case Management team. You will oversee staff, coordinate department operations, and ensure quality patient outcomes, resource efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a BSN, Ohio RN license, and BLS certification with at least five years in case management or related settings. Masters preferred and CCM/ACM certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Master's degree preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Current, valid RN license in Ohio.
• BLS certification required.
• CCM/ACM or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership within RN scope of practice to achieve department goals.
• Recruits, onboards, supervises, and develops staff with performance feedback.
• Oversees daily department operations, workflow, staffing and service delivery.
• Plans staffing assignments to ensure appropriate coverage for case management.
• Coordinates care coordination, discharge planning, and transitions of care.
• Collaborates with providers, nursing, social work, payers, and community resources.
