Job summary

Gem City Nursing & Rehab seeks a Registered Nurse to oversee resident care on a 7a-7p schedule across full-time, part-time, and per diem roles. The RN directs staff, administers meds, and ensures quality care per policies. Strong leadership and English proficiency are required.

Responsibilities include admission/discharge processes, daily resident checks, and timely nursing reports. This position emphasizes patient rights, professional image, and collaborative care within the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Leadership ability and willingness to supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete required RN record keeping forms upon admission, discharge, transfer.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents; arrange transportation as needed.
• Provide professional nursing services per facility policies and procedures.
• Give/receive nursing reports at shift start and end times.
• Monitor residents daily and communicate status to RN Supervisor.
