Job summary

Gem City Nursing & Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, part-time, or per diem shifts from 7P to 7A. You will oversee resident care, assign staff, and ensure compliance with policies to maintain the highest quality of care.

Duties include admitting, transferring and discharging residents, administering medications, and coordinating transportation. You will perform clinical tasks such as catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, and ventilator care, while supervising staff and

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Leadership ability and supervision experience.
• Proficient reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Complete required RN documentation for admissions, transfers, discharges.
• Prepare and administer medications as ordered.
• Admit, transfer and discharge residents and coordinate transportation.
• Provide clinical care including catheterization, tube feeding, wound care, and dressing changes.
• Tracheostomy and ventilator care experience.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with RN Supervisor/Director of Nurses.
• Maintain consumer/resident rights and professional image.
