Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a warm, home-like environment. You will deliver nursing care, assess residents, and collaborate with caregivers to ensure safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs, coordinating care with providers, and reporting changes to the care team while maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health to Care Director, physician, family, RCAs, and Executive Director per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management process.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and 911/post-emergency procedures as needed.
