Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will assess residents, document changes, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates hold an active RN license and CPR certification, with 1–2 years of experience in elder care. Medical, vision, and dental benefits, a 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off are offered.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience; elder care preferred.
• Previous experience with elderly residents is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assess, communicate, and document residents’ status.
• Observe and report significant changes in resident health per state regulations.
• Direct and supervise daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentor and direct Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinate care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balance service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognize and assist in preventing elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation per state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies and use personal emergency response systems and know when to call for backup.
