Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like environment. You will join a team dedicated to building community and lasting relationships with residents and associates.

Responsibilities include assessments, documentation, supervisingResident Care Assistants, coordinating care with providers, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Prior experience with the elderly is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an RN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved RN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a nurse.
• Experience with the elderly in paid or volunteer roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports changes in health to relevant directors and family per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with resident independence.
• Prevents elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation and reports as required.
• Responds to emergencies and uses emergency response systems appropriately.
