The role includes directing LPNs and CNAs, coordinating with physicians, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards and regulations. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license, at least one year of nursing experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• One year nursing experience.
• Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
• Skill in assessing problems and planning/delivering care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and CNAs.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing about assessments and concerns.
• Observe residents and report significant changes to staff and physicians.
