Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing from an approved School of Nursing.
• Possess a Registered Nurse License from the State that is in good standing.
• 2 years experience in long term care is preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of CMS/state regulations and SNF standards.
• Effective communication and documentation abilities.
• Organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident care with Administrator, Director of Nursing and other disciplines to ensure quality care.
• Engage and partner with others to develop care plans and provide continuity of care.
• Administer scheduled medication to residents in a timely manner and support survey readiness.
• Answer call lights and communicate needs to appropriate person, prioritizing requests and timely responses.
