Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a Registered Nurse Coordinator in Houston to deliver direct nursing care, ensure patient safety and comfort, and lead team operations to improve station flow. The role emphasizes coordinated, high-quality patient care across multiple specialties and locations.

The successful candidate will have RN licensure in Texas, 2+ years in a clinical setting, BCLS certification, CPR/IV therapy experience, and demonstrated leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department.
• Valid and current Texas RN license.
• Current BCLS through American Heart Association.
• CRT experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Demonstrated ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• ACLS (preferred)
• 2+ years of ambulatory care (preferred)
• Supervisory experience (preferred)
• Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned (preferred)
• Windows-based computer skills (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills and ensure safety and comfort of patients and families.
• Provide team leadership to enhance station or unit flow and functioning.
