Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Houston locations. You will provide nursing care in an assigned clinical area and demonstrate leadership on the unit under supervision.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BLS, and recent clinical experience; EPIC experience is preferred. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program.
• Current and valid Texas RN license.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• 6+ months of experience in a clinical area; KSC experience may substitute.
• Computer experience.
• Ability to use equipment and supplies for the assigned unit including CPR, oxygen and IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients in an assigned clinical area and leadership on the unit, under supervision.
• Applies clinical nursing knowledge and demonstrates skills to ensure patient safety and comfort per standards.
• Uses critical thinking to identify priorities and facilitate timely care for multiple patients.
