Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks a Registered Nurse Coordinator in Houston to deliver direct nursing care, ensure patient safety and comfort, and lead team operations to improve station flow. The successful candidate will have RN licensure in Texas, 2+ years in a clinical setting, BCLS certification, CPR/IV therapy experience, and demonstrated leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved RN nursing program.
• 2+ years in a clinical area related to assigned department.
• Valid and current Texas RN license.
• Current BCLS through American Heart Association.
• CRT experience.
• Experience leading a team.
• Demonstrated ability to use equipment and related supplies for selected patient population and for CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• ACLS (preferred)
• 2+ years of ambulatory care (preferred)
• Supervisory experience (preferred)
• Specialty nursing certification appropriate to specialty area assigned (preferred)
• Windows-based computer skills (preferred)

The Registered Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing direct nursing care by applying clinical nursing knowledge and skills, and for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards. As a coordinator he or she will provide team leadership to enhance the station or unit flow and functioning.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $35.00 to $63.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
