Job summary

MemorialCare Long Beach CVICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, cost-efficient care in a high-acuity ICU environment. You will work nights, 12-hour shifts, with a focus on patient-centered outcomes and critical care collaboration.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year CVICU experience, a BSN, California RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. A signing bonus of $20,000 is available for external hires meeting requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year CVICU experience in an acute care hospital.
• BSN required unless waived by NEC review.
• Current California RN license is required.
• BLS CPR and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost-effective patient care in CVICU per nursing process.
• Collaborate with ICU team to monitor and respond to patient conditions.
• Assist in care planning and handoffs during 12-hour night shifts.

Pay Range*: $50.74/hr - $89.66/hr

$20,000 signing bonus available to external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon satisfaction of employment requirements.

Position Summary

The RN, Registered Nurse 12-Hr provides safe, cost‑effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing, for the Intensive Care Unit at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Education/Licensure/Certification:

BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.

Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC). Approved accrediting bodies include: ACEN and CCNE others must be approved by NEC.

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.

A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support(CPR & AED)& ACLS certificationare also required
