Job summary

Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiovascular ICU. This full-time, night-shift role requires a BSN and CA RN license, with CVICU experience preferred.

A $10,000 signing bonus is available for external hires meeting employment requirements. The RN will provide high-quality, cost-efficient patient care in the CVICU, performing the nursing process within hospital standards and collaborating with the cardiac care team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CVICU experience in an acute care hospital.
• BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.
• American Heart Association CPR & ACLS certifications (BLS/CPR & AED) are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, cost-efficient patient care in CVICU using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary cardiology team to develop and implement care plans.
• Adhere to MemorialCare policies and participate in ongoing professional development.

Title: Registered Nurse (RN) CVICU

Location: Long Beach, CA

Department: Adult Cardiac Care Unit

Status: Full-Time

Shift: Night Shift, 12 Hour

Pay Range*: $58.48/hr - $79.57/hr

$10,000 signing bonus available to external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon satisfaction of employment requirements.

Position Summary

The RN, Registered Nurse 12-Hr provides safe, cost-effective patient care through the health experience, according to established standards utilizing the nursing process, within the scope of practice of Registered Nursing, for the Intensive Care Unit at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Qualifications

Qualifications/Work Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in CVICU in an acute care hospital.

Education/Licensure/Certification

BSN required unless waived by nurse executive council review.

Graduated from an accredited nursing program unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC). Approved accrediting bodies include: ACEN and CCNE others must be approved by NEC.

Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in California is required.

A current American Heart Association Basic Life Support(CPR & AED)& ACLS certification are also required
