Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Stepdown at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role requires night shifts, full-time status, and a 36-hour workweek with a sign-on bonus for experienced and new graduate nurses.
The RN will apply the nursing process to patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality while adhering to Mercy standards.
Overview: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Schedule: Nights | Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Sign-On Bonus: Experienced Nurses: Up to $10,000
Sign-On Bonus: New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience): Up to $5,000

Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
