The Ohio State University seeks a Capacity Management Specialist RN to support the Nurse Manager in the Patient Flow Management Center at University Hospital. You will facilitate admissions, transfers and discharges, coordinate communication with referring facilities, and ensure accurate real-time data entry for ADT processes.

You will apply clinical criteria to determine transfer appropriateness and level of care, participate in meetings to maintain knowledge of processes, and escalate issues

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required.
• Current license as a registered nurse from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing required.
• Minimum of two years experience in a clinical nursing capacity required.
• Demonstration of leadership and management skills preferred.

• Assist Nurse Manager with departmental operations of the Patient Flow Management Center (ADTs, admissions, transfers, and discharges).
• Coordinate patient transfers from referring facilities to OSU with professional, high-quality customer service.
• Enter transfer data into the database in real time with accuracy for reporting.
