Job summary

Ohio State University Hospital is seeking a Capacity Management Specialist RN to support the Nurse Manager in the Patient Flow Management Center. You will coordinate patient transfers, communicate with referring and receiving facilities, and document transfer data for real-time reporting.

Applicants must hold a BSN, Ohio RN license, and have at least two years of clinical nursing experience. Leadership skills are preferred and candidates should live within reasonable proximity to Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient transfers from referring facilities to OSU Hospital.
• Enter transfer details into the database for real-time data accuracy.
• Apply clinical criteria to evaluate transfer appropriateness and level of care.
• Escalate issues to management as appropriate.
