Job summary

West Tennessee Healthcare is seeking an RN for day shift to provide quality patient care using the nursing process on the assigned unit. You will coordinate with other shifts, assess patients, and implement plans of care under supervision, documenting findings in the medical record.

The role includes medication administration, collaboration with physicians, and potential role as charge nurse. Current TN RN licensure and BLS in orientation are required; ACLS/NRP should be obtained within one year.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee.
• BLS certification must be obtained within orientation.
• ACLS and NRP certifications within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process on the assigned unit.
• Perform initial patient assessment and plan care; coordinate with other shifts.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
• Document care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Act as primary nurse/charge nurse when assigned and supervise staff.
