Job summary

HonorHealth’s Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking an RN for Behavioral Health Nights to provide expert nursing care in an inpatient psychiatric setting. The role emphasizes adherence to ANA standards, medication administration, IV management, and collaborative care planning with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will educate patients and families, monitor treatment plans, and support professional development through precepting and ongoing skill enhancement.

Qualifications

• 2 years Behavioral health experience
• 2 years RN experience for all Float Positions
• BSN preferred; BSN within 60 months of hire or 5 years RN experience

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice is guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics. The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms, helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results, operates medical equipment, administers treatment and medications, and assists with patient follow-up and rehabilitation.
• The RN develops and implements a care plan, administers medications with careful dosage checks, maintains IV lines, and collaborates with physicians and other clinicians; provides patient and family education; supports staff and precepts new hires and students.
