Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an RN - Assistant Director of Nursing to support the DON in planning, organizing, and directing Nursing Services to ensure high-quality patient care in compliance with laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires an RN license (ASN/BSN), active state licensure, CPR certification, and experience in geriatric/post-acute care; the incumbent will supervise staff, oversee infection control, and maintain patient rights and safety.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from accredited college or university.
• Active RN license in the relevant state.
• CPR certification at hire or during orientation.
• Two years' geriatric nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist DON in planning, developing, and directing Nursing Services.
• Interview, hire, train, and supervise nursing staff.
• Oversee care provided by nursing staff and infection control.
• Assume DON duties in DON's absence.
• Comply with Life Care policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional integrity.
