Skilled Nursing of Denver is seeking an energetic RN to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The role partners with the Director of Nursing to supervise clinical operations, mentor staff, and drive quality improvements in a Denver facility.

The ideal candidate holds an active Colorado RN license with experience in long-term care, and demonstrates strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

What You'll Do

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you'll work side-by-side with our Director of Nursing to help lead the clinical operations of our facility.

You'll be a key player in:

• Supporting and mentoring nursing staff

• Promoting exceptional resident care and outcomes

• Assisting with clinical compliance and regulatory readiness

• Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions

• Monitoring quality measures and driving performance improvement

• Assisting with infection prevention and clinical education initiatives

• Participating in admissions, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration

• Supporting staffing, scheduling, and clinical operations

• Serving as a clinical resource and leader throughout the building

• Helping create a positive, engaged, and team-focused culture

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado

• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred
