Veritas Skilled Nursing Management in Pueblo, CO is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to partner with the Director of Nursing in delivering clinical excellence and developing staff.

Ideal candidate holds a Colorado RN license with 2–5 years of management experience in skilled nursing, excellent communication, organization, and a resident‑centered leadership approach, with a focus on regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
• 2–5 years experience in Management.
• Leadership experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the Nursing Department and assist the Director of Nursing in achieving clinical and operational excellence.
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff while fostering teamwork and accountability.
• Ensure high-quality resident care through regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and clinical oversight.
• Assist with staffing, orientation, performance management, and employee development.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Support survey readiness, infection prevention, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Step into the Director of Nursing role when needed.
