Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Colorado is seeking an energetic RN leader to join our team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON). The RN must be Colorado-licensed and ready to help shape culture, mentor staff, improve resident outcomes, and drive clinical excellence.

In this role you will partner with the Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations, support staffing, ensure regulatory readiness, and advance infection prevention and quality initiatives while fostering a positive, team-focused

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado.
• Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead with professionalism, accountability, and compassion.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical operations alongside Director of Nursing.
• Mentor nursing staff and promote resident care outcomes.
• Assist with clinical compliance and regulatory readiness.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor quality measures and drive performance improvement.
• Assist with infection prevention and clinical education.
• Participate in admissions, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
