Corewell Health is seeking a registered nurse for 6 South at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. The role supports patients with advanced heart failure and post-transplant care, operating nights in a 36-hour weekly schedule.

Under the ANA framework, the RN provides professional nursing care, collaborates with the care team, documents education, and aligns with Corewell Health policies to improve patient outcomes; prior inpatient RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI RN license required.
• BLS certification required with 90 days.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months.
• 1-2 years inpatient RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care following the ANA framework.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge in collaboration with the care team.
• Partner with Nurse Leader to develop teaching strategies for patients and families.

Education

Associates in Nursing Required

Bachelors in Nursing Required within 5 years

MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required

CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Required

AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Required within 6 months

1-2 years of inpatient RN experience preferred
