Job summary

Corewell Health’s 5 West unit at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is hiring a registered nurse for a fast-paced weekend/overnight environment. You’ll deliver bedside care on a night shift, applying critical thinking and ANA standards to patients with diverse conditions.

The role offers full-time hours (36 per week), a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. schedule, and collaborative care with on-site physicians and APNs. Michigan RN license required; BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing within 5 years required.
• MI RN license required in Michigan.
• AHA/ARC Basic Life Support certification required within 90 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care according to ANA standards and state regulations.
• Demonstrate critical thinking in assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
• Provide care for diverse patient populations on a fast-paced unit, with telemetry, IVs, and wound care.
