Job summary

Tucson Medical Center's Adult Surgical Unit 800 is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time day shift coverage. This 30-bed unit handles urologic, bariatric, colo-rectal, vascular, and general surgical patients, with focus on pre- and post-operative care and patient education.

Qualified candidates must hold an Arizona RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS may be required for certain specialties. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered with 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a qualified, nationally-accredited nursing program.
• One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan and adjust care.
• Document initial histories and develop individual care plans.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
