Job summary

Tucson Medical Center in Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse with 2+ years of acute care experience to join our team and coordinate patient care across disciplines. You will deliver direct care, develop individualized plans, and monitor outcomes to ensure safe, high-quality patient experiences.

Responsibilities include reviewing histories, performing rounds, communicating with physicians, and educating patients and families. ARIZONA RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred for this RN role.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license in Arizona and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care planning with other disciplines to ensure safety and well‑being.
• Provides direct patient care and assesses outcomes, adjusting care as needed.
• Writes or obtains nursing histories and develops individualized care plans.
• Reviews shift reports and conducts rounds to assess patient status.
• Notifies physicians of unusual events and facilitates required consultations.
• Educates patients and families, sharing information and resources.
• Ensures aseptic technique and safe handling of IV lines and movements.
• Supports EP and nursing teams in procedures as required.
