Job summary

Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Main ED Mid Shift to coordinate patient care planning with other disciplines, applying the nursing process and critical thinking to maintain patient safety and well-being.

The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus with 2+ years of experience. Requires current Arizona RN licensure and BLS certification; Bachelor’s degree preferred and one year of acute care experience recommended.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Arizona and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes and adjusts nursing care as needed.
• Writes or obtains initial nursing histories, assesses conditions and develops care plans.
• Receives shift reports, performs rounds and notes patient condition.
• Notifies physicians for unusual events and coordinates interdisciplinary care.
