Job summary

Wellmore of Daniel Island is seeking an ADON (RN) to implement standards of resident care on a 24-hour basis in the Skilled Nursing department and assist with oversight. The ideal candidate must have a current state licensure as an RN in good standing, be able to work the clinical floor, share a vision with the team, focus on delivering excellent clinical care, and maintain a positive attitude daily.

Qualifications

• Two or Four year college or university degree required.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse is required.
• Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position required.
• Five years of healthcare experience desired.
• Remain in good standing with the Nurse Practice Act.

Responsibilities

• Maintains residents’ charts to include all admission documents, care plans, records of care, and any other documents required by state regulatory agencies.
• Operates the SNF areas in compliance with regulations and liaises with regulatory agencies.
• Administers resident medications and assesses response to treatments; suggests nursing adjustments.
• Participates in staff meetings and implements nursing programs.
• Conducts daily resident rounds and initiates corrective action as necessary.
