Job summary
Neffsville Nursing and Rehab in Lancaster, PA seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in daily operations, regulatory compliance, and ensuring high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing facility.
The ADON will lead nursing staff, participate in rounds, collaborate with physicians and the care team, oversee MDS processes, and drive quality improvement and staff development to ensure survey readiness and excellent outcomes.
Qualifications
- Requires PA RN license and leadership experience in long-term care.
- Strong organizational and communication skills essential for leadership.
- Commitment to quality care and regulatory compliance is required.
- Oversee nursing operations and ensure regulatory readiness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, organizing, and directing Nursing Service operations.
- Support the DON with regulatory compliance and survey readiness.
- Review nursing documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care and address concerns.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on resident care.
- Assist with MDS assessments, RAPs, and care plan revisions.
- Support staff education, competency validation, and PI initiatives.
- Participate in QAPI activities.
