AristaCare in New Jersey is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading the clinical team and delivering quality, resident-centered care. You will coordinate infection control, plan training for staff, support compliance, and help ensure appropriate staffing.

Requirements include NJ RN license, 5 years of nursing in a clinical setting (3 in supervisory roles preferred), infection control experience, EMR literacy, and IP course completion within

Qualifications

• NJ RN license required.
• 5 years of nursing experience in clinical setting preferred.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in long-term care/sub-acute preferred.
• Infection control experience preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems preferred.
• IP Course completion within 3–6 months of hire expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the upmost quality and patient-centered care of residents.
• Coordinate infection control.
• Plan, organize, and implement training programs/in-services for clinical staff.
• Assist with compliance and ensure effective communication with all levels of nursing staff.
• Ensure adequate staffing of the facility nursing department, including recruitment as needed.
• Oversee competency evaluations and corrective action plans.
